When great Grandnephew of the Lone Ranger himself, Britt Reid, is given the job of management of his father's paper, The Daily Sentinel, Britt decides to do something about the crime in the world; he dons a mask and starts fighting the world's ills as The Green Hornet. The vigilante, assisted by Kato his driver and loyal servant, fights crime but must flee the police after criminal capture to prevent arrest for his unsanctioned crusade. The Green Hornet's fabulous car Black Beauty was actually a modified 1966 Chrysler Imperial, which was altered by famed auto customizer Dean Jeffries. The Green Hornet and Kato crossover into several Batman episodes including The Spell of Tut, Tut's case is Shut, A Piece of the Action, and Batman's Satisfaction.
